You Are Enough

This is the message I keep hearing my intuition tell me this week. You are enough. You are enough. You are enough. You are enough. You are enough.

I Am Enough Even When...
I'm tired and have nothing left to give...You Are Enough
I'm cranky and have nothing nice to say...You Are Enough
I'm uninspired and have no helpful words...You Are Enough

Our lives move in cycles, some days I'm on fire with energy, productivity, and inspiration, and some days I sit in silence. But now I'm learning to appreciate that my silent days are days filled with great productivity, too. There are days where I am repairing internally, and I don't know what the repair work is about until later. But something good always comes from honoring what I need. 

You Are Enough.

Our Guardian Angels are in Bliss when they think of us. Isn't that how you feel about your child? Blissful gratitude? No one on the planet feels as devoted, blissful, and adoring as you do toward your child. Please know that you have Guardian Angels that feel this way about you, total bliss. And They say...You Are Enough.

There is no judgement coming from them.

You Are Enough.

They are at peace with who you are. They guide you to make choices that will help you to feel happier, sometimes we take their advice and sometimes we don't. Isn't our child the same way? We understand and support our child with their learning curve of taking good advice. Don't we deserve to give ourselves the same sort of grace and acceptance for where we are?

You Are Enough.

When I embrace that I am enough, the world is shiner to me, I'm happier, I'm free, I'm restored, I'm at peace. And then even on slower, restful, internal repairing days, I can feel peace and joy and appreciation for self, because I am enough.

How to Instantly Relax

Did your day just get ransacked by stress? Here are two steps to to hep you Easily Relax in any situation by using Transition Tricks and Quick Body Talk.

The last 24 hours have reminded me that sometimes my scheduled zen meditation plan get’s chucked out the window when emergencies pop up. And today, that is exactly what happened to me when my freaky Mother Bear mode came out while helping my oldest daughter find holistic medical care hundreds of miles away from me. Eeeek!!! Once I knew my daughter was in good hands, I realized 3 hours had passed by and I needed to find a way to transition out of my Freaky Side and calm down.

Sometimes I need some help transitioning into a state where I can meditate. So, I went to my bag of transitions tricks.

I love living in California, and went to my backyard and hugged a tree, while I stood barefoot in the grass, and then I laid down on my yoga mat in the morning sun light, listened to the birds, felt the soft breeze on my face, and gave thanks to the Universe for providing all that I ever need. As I began doing these things, calm washed over me and stress receded. As I melted into a more peaceful state, I knew I was now ready to practice my meditation. Even though all of this was very brief, due to my schedule change, it was still very powerful and fully transformed me.

What about you? Do you have any transition tricks?

No, but you want them? Here is a starter list of things to try.

Transition Tricks
The objective is to experiment with a lot of things so you can find what instantly calms you.
  1. Hug a tree (or lean up against one with your bare hands touching it, no one will know you are secretly hugging it)
  2. Walk around barefoot in the grass, or take your shoes off at lunch to feel the ground
  3. Light some candles
  4. Look at colorful flowers
  5. Look at flowers online if you don’t have any at home in your office.
  6. Put on meditation music (ITunes, YouTube, the options online are abundant)
  7. Allow yourself some time to have a cry, to be angry, to feel whatever you need to feel. Bathroom stalls work great in a pinch.
  8. Take an epsom salt bath
  9. Journal
  10. Sing a song
  11. Play your favorite music
  12. Watch a funny YouTube video
  13. Go into a different room and breath
  14. Experiment with some new ideas

Side Note: Do you need to worry about Sarah now that she is discussing tree hugging? What is all this tree hugging about? That’s weird.

Yes, it is weird, I wholeheartedly agree with you. But, it works. There is something innate about our connecting with nature. We are from nature, and are biologically connected to nature, so our vibrations align with nature and are instantly raised by being in nature. Haven’t you noticed how good you feel after a day at the beach, camping, time at the park, on a bike ride, hiking or walking the dog? It’s because you are outside, you are connecting with nature and raising your physical vibrations as a result. 

Quick Body Talk
This is an uber important point here. Because your body self (ego) is helping you, she is giving you what you need through your emotions and uses physical symptoms to talk to you. By loving your self, and all it's feelings and symptoms, you will be able to release your feelings and symptoms and move onto the state you are desiring.

A Conversation with Your Body
You can do this in your head (no one will ever know) or speak it aloud.
  1. Ask yourself where you are physically feeling your emotions? Take a moment to think about your body, you will find a symptom like, a tense jaw, slight back pain, constriction in your throat, head ache, etc.
  2. Once you’ve identified the body part, you can begin a conversation with it.
  3. Lovingly ask, “(Body part) what is the Positive Intention of this symptom?”
  4. You may hear it say….”I’m trying to warn you, I’m afraid, I’m worried, I’m scared.”
  5. Lovingly thank the body part for its concern.
  6. Next ask it, “Why is it trying to lovingly warn you?”
  7. You may hear it say, “Because we are worried about the situation you are about to go into will cause you harm, or you need to rest, or we want to protect you, etc.”
  8. Now you can respond by saying, “Thank you for your loving warning and for loving me so much. I am so lucky to have a body that loves me so much to send me loving messages. Thank you.”
  9. Now, as soon as you give thanks, you will feel a wave of calm seep through you. This happens because you’ve just acknowledged the body part’s effort to communicate with you. Now your body part understands you’ve heard their message, and they know their job is done, so it can therefore cease to cause you pain. So, the pain will dissolve.

It’s okay if you have to repeat this a few times, sometimes there are several layers of messages, and I find that 95% of the time this works for me. But this is not a replacement for medical help if you need it. So take care and do what you need to do.

Results
Within minutes, the Transition Tricks will bring you back to a calmer reality, and you will find great relief when you use the How to Talk Yourself off the Ledge technique. You will find that you will learn to rapidly shift from total bonkers stressed out freaky side, to zen happy girl super fast, and that it can be easy and even fun, anywhere and at anytime. It's so magical.

Remember
Allow yourself the peace of mind and appreciation that you deserve. You are loved. You are cherished. You are admired by the Universe above. They are totally cool with you, as you are, so any work you do to move yourself into a relaxed and more peaceful state is like a cherry on the top of a sundae. 

Release those worries, and allow the Universe to give you a big relaxed warm hug.
